Vol. 00 · Pilot Privacy
Your pilot,
at a glance.
Last updated · April 18, 2026
If your school is running a Lily pilot, here is exactly what your professor can and cannot see. Aggregates only. No individual activity.
Vol. 01 · What They See
What your professor
can see.
- How many students in the class have registered.
- How many students are active today, this week, this month.
- Total practice questions completed by the class and the typical number per student.
- What percentage of students uploaded their own coursework.
- What percentage of the questions the class practiced were built from their uploaded coursework.
Vol. 02 · What They Don't
What your professor
never sees.
- Your name, email, or any direct identifier.
- Your individual scores, accuracy, or session history.
- Which questions you answered or got wrong.
- Your uploaded documents.
When fewer than five students in the cohort are active, all statistics are suppressed so no single student can be identified by inference.
Vol. 03 · Your Choices
Always opt-in.
- Joining a pilot is opt-in. You check a consent box when you enroll.
- You can leave the pilot anytime in Settings. After you leave, your activity stops contributing to the cohort rollups.
- You can delete your account at any time using the normal delete flow. Your data is removed per our standard privacy policy.
